Our Ordering Process

The plans that you see listed here on our website are sold at a fixed price.

​We have extensive experience working within the custom design field and are more than happy to customize your plans to fit all of your needs. 

To get started:

   1. Reach out to us! You can email us or fill out the order form at the bottom of this page and we will be in touch within 1-2 business days. 

   2. Our response will include our customer terms and conditions agreement seen below. This agreement must be signed prior to any payment or delivery of any plans.

   3. Once the agreement has been signed, we will send you a payment invoice for your purchase. If you wish to make modifications to your plans, a deposit of 50% will be requested prior to any work beginning.

   4. You can pay by check or Venmo. Sorry no credit cards payments are currently accepted.

   5. Once payment is received we will then:

             A. Issue your drawings if no modifications are necessary.

             B. Lets meet via zoom or at our office if you are local and discuss your vision.

6. Happy building! Drawings issued are delivered via email as a PDF file. If you wish you have the drawings printed and mailed to you, we are happy to do that but you will be billed for the cost of printing and assembling.

For any modifications or changes that you would like to have made you will be charged an hourly rate of $85/hr in addition to the fixed price of the plan selected.

We bill for our time spent - this includes meeting prep and online time spent with you. Missed meetings, without prior notice, are billed for 30 minutes. 

Terms and Conditions

All plans listed here and purchased are the intellectual property of Form and Function House Plans, which operates under Design Worth Calling Home, LLC. and each purchase comes with the following terms and conditions as stated below. Please read them thoroughly!


Local Building Codes and Engineering

Plans purchased shall be in compliance with generally accepted zoning principles. These zoning principles may or may not be the same as the zoning laws and regulations in the city, town or state where the Customer will construct the plans. Our plans are designed to meet most national building codes at the time they were originally drawn. Many states and counties amend the codes for their area. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or builder to see that the structure is built to meet the building codes within your area.

Customer hereby indemnifies and holds Form and Function House Plans and Design Worth Calling Home, LLC its principals, employees, and agents, harmless from any claim, loss, or liability resulting from the failure of the plans to comply with local zoning laws or regulations or for any other breach of this Agreement attributable in whole or in part to Customer or its builder.


Architectural or Structural Engineering Review

Some municipalities may require a plan be reviewed by a licensed Architect or Structural Engineer in the area you plan to build. For any plans have been purchased from Form and Function House Plans and or Design Worth Calling Home, the customer is responsible for any additional expenses incurred to meet municipality requirements or other requirements for construction.


By signing this form the purchaser has agreed to the above terms and conditions.
